OK. I know this is petty, but it really bugs me that Obama can't pronounce Massachusetts. If ya can't pronounce the name of a particular state, don't keep repeating the name of that state. I mean get a fricking speech coach.

Hmmm. Is this bugging you so much because he looks to be the nominee?

No, it's just irritating. He's running for president of the US, MA included, and he can't pronounce the state's name. Makes me think of Bush and nuclear.
As I've said before, I think Clinton and Obama are both excellent candidates. I still think Clinton would be a more effective president than Obama, but I'm happy to support him if he's the nominee.

Well, let's just call him "Obamahr" in the spirit of Massachusetts retaliation.

Yes, I love it! When I lived in CT I developed my theory of 'r's' and that is that they cannot be created or destroyed. So, when folks say cah and pahk, those r's float around until they end up on words like idear, sodar, and dramar.
As a California, I was immune,so my versions of idea, soda, and drama remained pure. As, of course, did my versions of car and park.

I just sent this post to a bunch of my friends as I agree with most of what you’re saying here and the way you’ve presented it is awesome.
