It's been quite awhile since I last posted here. I won't go into detail about what's transpired over the last several weeks except to say that I've struggled mightily with the loss of our dear, dear Clyde. And there was prepping for the beginning of classes and all that comes with a new semester.
But, with a little prompting from a friend, I've decided to rededicate myself to this blog.
I taught my first classes of the semester Tuesday. I didn't feel at all ready to be back in the classroom, and in fact had a series of teaching stress dreams the night before. Most were of the typical sort. I dreamed I walked into a classroom to find I'd been assigned a chemistry class, and I dreamed I got the time wrong and so missed the first class I was supposed to teach. I also dreamed they'd built a new bridge on campus, but for some reason, one side of it was really close to the ground so I had to crawl under it, and through the mud to get to class, and I also dreamed that there was a new roster system that listed every single class on a huge screen, and I couldn't see well enough to locate my class among the thousands of others.
Despite all the anxiety and feelings of being unprepared, everything went well; in fact, the entire week went well. I've already had too many meetings, of course. If only I could avoid the meetings life would be so much better.
I've also been watching the Demcratic National Convention this week and have been wowed by the powerful oratory. Beginning with Michelle Obama on the first night, Hillary Clinton on the second, Joe Biden and Bill Clinton on the third, this has been a one hell of a convention. And tonight it's Barack Obama. I dare the repubs to top this.
Liked you on Facebook, too. =)

HHH Yes, the design of national policy is important, how our economic development plans for the next five years, how the implementation, how to make our economy even faster. Are designed to advance our focus to invest money in what ways it should be carefully arranged.
